Perlite has been heated at high temperature causing it to expand by up to 15 times. This creates a porous structure to store both air and water.
Create a 5% to 40% perlite mix when using with compost, peat moss or coir. Can be used at 75% to 100% mix when used for hydroponics or green roofs
It can also be used to break up compacted soils and to retain water in dry areas.
To prevent dust, 1 litre of water should be added to a 10 litre bag before use.
Packed into bags made of 100% recycled plastic.
