The use of Floragard Active green plant and palm soil is so simple:
Pot your plants in spring or autumn in about 2-4 cm larger containers.
Place pots of clay or terracotta completely in water for 1 to 2 hours before first use to prevent them from pulling the water later from the root ball. Cover the vent hole at the bottom of the planter with a clay shard so that it does not clog. Fill a drainage layer of gravel, lava or expanded clay and add a first layer of Floragard green plant and palm soil over it.
Before plugging, remove dead, above-ground plant parts and then carefully loosen the plant from the old vessel – as possible without hurting the root ball. Remove as much old soil from the root ball as possible, loosen the root mesh slightly and cut out sick root parts.
Now insert the plant into the new container and fill with Floragard green plant and palm soil from all sides. The plant should close to the soil at the same height as in the old pot, and there should be no leaves directly on the soil. When the plant sits correctly, lightly press the soil around and water vigorously once the water runs out to the bottom of the pot so that the whole soil is penetrated with moisture.
Do not fertilise the plants in autumn and winter.
