– The DX2 has 2x DisplayPorts outputs that are compliant with ver. DP1.4/DP++
2. Is it possible to connect a type-c (video power) portable monitor into this product? How can I do that?
-The DX2 only has 2 DisplayPort outputs – thus you will need a compatible ‘active’ adapter or a DisplayPort-to-USB-C cable if you require to connect to a USB-C monitor.
3. Does this work with Chromebooks?
– Yes – the DX2 supports Chrome OS computers
4. Does this work with Linux Ubuntu?
-DisplayLink have released compatible Ubuntu software on their website.
5.Does this support true gigabit Ethernet throughput speeds (3.1) without loss to connected PC?
-The Ethernet port on the DX2 is capable of up to 1Gbps – please note speeds are dependent on a variety of factors such as source and network settings.
